Crowns & Bridges
Crowns and bridges are both dental prostheses that are used to restore the functionality and appearance of teeth. Furthermore, crowns are used to cover a tooth that has been damaged or to strengthen a tooth that has been weakened by decay, and bridges are used to replace missing teeth.
CROWNS & THE PROCESS
This process takes two appointments. We will remove any decay and bacteria while shaping the tooth. Once completed, we will take an impression and send it to a dental lab. You will leave with a temp crown to protect your tooth until the next appointment.
The lab will create a crown that will fit perfectly around the tooth, and once we receive it, we will have you back for the second appointment to install it.
About Bridges
The most common bridge is custom-made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or composite resin and bonded to the natural teeth on either side of the missing tooth.
Bridges can restore the function and appearance of your smile and help prevent adjacent teeth from drifting out of position. They may also help protect your jawbone from deterioration caused by tooth loss.
