Oral Sedation

You aren’t alone! Most people, especially those who have to undergo dental procedures such as cavity fillings, root canals, or extractions, experience a fair amount of anxiety when visiting the dentist. Therefore, we offer oral sedation to relieve stress.

How Oral Sedation Can Help Combat Dentist Anxiety

Oral sedation is a safe and effective way to manage dental anxiety. It is a non-invasive method that can help ease the fear and worry associated with dental treatments.

Benefits of Oral Sedation

It works by calming the body and mind, allowing patients to relax and be more comfortable during the procedure. It also helps to reduce pain and anxiety, as well as reduce blood pressure and heart rate.

Our process for oral sedation

If you are interested in this option, we will set up an appointment where you will come in to sign the consent form for the dental procedure 1 day prior to the procedure and pick up the prescription for the oral sedation medication.

On the day of the procedure, the medication must be taken an hour prior to the appointment. Please note: Patients must be driven to and from our dental office by a friend or family member .
